Tsunami Carbon Shield II Spinning Rods have caught fire. Originally designed as the perfect Gulf rod, the Carbon Shield II has proven itself to be a versatile inshore saltwater rod. It is constructed of lightweight IM7 graphite mixed with D16 Nanotech. Together you get a rod that you can cast all day long with minimal fatigue and that has the backbone to handle fish a step above its class. It is outfitted with ALPS Tangle Free Aluminum-Oxide Guides that are perfect for braided lines and reduce instances of wind knots. The custom aluminum reel seat is really nice and will handle that modern spinning reel you enjoy fishing with. If you like a full cork grip, this rod’s got you covered. It’s rally comfortable.
