Tippet rings are excellent for adding dropper flies. At the end of a leader or tippet tie in a tippet ring using a clinch not. Add an additional length of tippet for your point fly- 15-20″. Add a shorter piece of tippet to the ring for attaching your dropper – ~6″.

Now you never cut into your tapered leader to attach new lengths oftippet.
